Take Flight with Coding
|
|
This session will introduce teachers to the concept of using minidrones and coding to excite their students and add a new dimension to using robots and coding. Similar to my other session this one will focus on using Scratch type block coding (Tynker and Tickle) to control drones and complete tasks. For the first 20 min I will introduce the concepts behind using these nimble little drones in class and how to incorporate them into your curriculum. For the rest of the session you will have a chance to complete a task and learn, first hand, how fun and engaging these devices can be in the hands of your students.
