Recently, I wanted to put full screen videos in slides but kept running into the problem of slides exiting into editing mode when I hit ESC to go back to the slide after watching the video. The way that I worked around this was to create a place holder image, I used a screenshot of the video and a image of a tv but you can use any image, and insert a link (instead of hyperlink I told it to go to next slide). This way when you either click on the video place holder or just move to the next slide the video is ready to go and I feel it looks much nicer than just dumping the video on the slide. HERE IS A LINK TO AN EXAMPLE SLIDE SHOW https://goo.gl/EqNhiq Place Holder Image with Inserted Link Video ready to play If you notice I have added navigation buttons using the same method of inserting links within the slide show. It makes it easier to navigate while using videos and a smartboard.
